Luis Guzman, phd

Born in Mexico City, Luis earned a Masters Degree in Communications from Wisconsin University in Madison and a PhD in Wireless Telecommunications from Georgia Tech. He is certified as a Master Catechist with the Archdiocese of Atlanta, has a Masters level certificate in The Theology of the Body from Washington Catholic University, John Paul II Pontifical Institute; a Masters level certificate in Pastoral Theology from Chicago University St. Ignatius of Loyola Theological Center; a Masters level certificate in Theology and the Vatican II documents from the St. Aquinas Theological Center at Emory University in Atlanta. Luis is a member of Atlanta’s Archdiocesan Forum for the RCIA. He is also a trainer for Lectors, Ushers and Eucharistic Ministers of Holy Communion. He is Diocesan Coordinator for Sponsor Couple marriage preparation in Spanish. At the Cathedral of Christ the King, Luis serves as a catechist for Adult Faith Formation and for the RCIA in Spanish.
