Luis Guzman, phd

Born in Mexico City, Luis earned a Masters Degree in Communications from Wisconsin University in Madison and a PhD in Wireless Telecommunications from Georgia Tech. He received Master Catechist recognition in the Archdiocese of Atlanta, and he also has a graduate level certificate in The Theology of the Body from the Pontifical John Paul II Institute for Studies on Marriage & Family at The Catholic University of America; a graduate level certificate in Pastoral Theology from Chicago University’s St. Ignatius of Loyola Theological Center; and a graduate level certificate in Theology and the Vatican II documents from the Aquinas Center at Emory University in Atlanta. While in Atlanta, Luis was a trainer for Lectors, Ushers and Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion; he served as Archdiocesan Coordinator for Sponsor Couple marriage preparation in Spanish; and he served at the Cathedral of Christ the King as a catechist for Adult Faith Formation and for the RCIA in Spanish. Luis now resides in Mexico.
